TRADE MARKETING MANAGER

For one of our clients, an international company operating in the FMCG sector – we are looking for a driven professional for the mission of Trade marketing manager.

Responsibilities
  • Propose the strategy and coordinate the implementation of assortment and pricing structure and margin split for the brands (base selling prices, commercial policy, marketing budget, gross profit) considering the market conditions and company policy
  • Collect, summarize and analyze the price trends on the Market and accordingly prepare the report and proposal for management strategic decisions
  • Produce and introduce the all forms and reports for assortment and prices follow up
  • Coordinate the preparation and approve the product presentations (trainings) for sales and customers
  • Approve the strategy and objectives for the development of the brands – annual, medium and long term
  • Coordinate and monitor the preparation and implementation of annual promotional plan and budget, in order to support the achievement of the sales plan

  • Approve the marketing budget and the targeted Gross Marketing Profit on brand level in the frame of the company’s objectives
  • Presents the annual business plan to the suppliers and negotiates annual marketing budget
  • Reports monthly an updated business plan, achieved results and generated and spent budget and Gross Marketing Profit achieved (Monthly business review)
  • Coordinate and monitor (at least 3 months rolling) the realization of the marketing plan and promotional activities per brand
  • Ensure that all promotional activities will be timely communicated to the sales team
  • Regularly evaluate the ROI of major activities and investments and report about the results to the company management
  • Coordinate and monitor the plan and provision of all necessary materials for implementing promotional activities
  • Coordinate and monitor the preparation of the internal report / analysis of the results of activities and spent budget
  • Coordinate and monitor the preparation of the monthly reports for suppliers on generated and spent marketing budget and the costs for reimbursement
  • Create and initiate the new promotional approach and mechanisms in accordance to Market trends and competitors’ activities
  • Organize and coordinate the forecast process in order to maintain and control the targeted stock level required to fulfill the sales and purchase plan (weekly, monthly, yearly)
  • Provide the forecast accuracy report at least on bi-monthly basis
  • Control and approve the purchasing orders according to the company guidelines
  • Submit the stock analyzes on monthly bases and proposes the action plan for overstock items and soon expired products
  • Define the Advertising and POS materials needed and ensure the import/production, in the frame of the planned budget
  • Cooperate and negotiate with suppliers and agencies related to POS materials production: source the best price, coordinate orders, monitor the deadline and quality, delivery and invoicing
  • Monitor the stock and analyze the use of Advertising and POS materials in order to optimize the cost and the efficiency of use. Ensure timely availability of required materials in support of the sales department in achieving their goals
  • Communicate with the suppliers for all matters related to the brands
  • Coordinate and monitor the preparation and sending of reports and analysis required by the suppliers

Experience required
  • At least three years’ experience in a similar position in FMCG environment or in a company with a similar business and portfolio
  • Experience in planning and management of commercial initiatives and marketing programs and budgets
Qualifications & Skills
  • Higher education (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree) – economy education is preferable
  • Computer literacy (MS Office);
  • Very good command of written and spoken English
  • Valid driving license, B category
