For one of our clients – an international FMCG company with commercial and manufacturing operation in Bulgaria  – we are searching for an experienced professional for the position of Sales Director

The Mission
  • Lead the company’s entire commercial operations in Bulgaria in both strategic and operational terms. Ensure that the business targets are met, while adhering to the company’s business philosophy, ethics and internal guidelines
  • Drive the definition of the company commercial strategy in the market
  • Strong People Management experience
  • Ensure the proper implementation of the sales strategy to maximize sales volume, profit and market share, guarantee execution of commercial targets and relevant KPIs
  • Develop strategic long term commercial plans and short term tactical activities for achieving goals
  • Responsible for the P&L and the sales budget allocation including Net Revenue, Sales CAPEX, OPEX & Direct Marketing investments
  • Plan, secure, implement and control commercial policy on all levels
  • Develop and implement the pricing strategy, together with the Marketing team
  • Optimize the portfolio periodically and drive innovation pipeline along with the Marketing team
  • Identify new business opportunities
  • Initiate, develop and maintain productive relationships with external and internal clients and partners
Required Qualification, Competencies & Experience
  • Relevant academic degree – Bachelor or Master degree
  • Extensive experience in sales leadership positions in the consumer goods sector
  • Experience with traditional trade and HoReCa channel development would be considered a strong advantage
  • Deep knowledge of Bulgarian consumer goods and retail market, FMCG, at least 5 years on similar position
  • Capability to translate vision and creative business ideas into profitable solutions
  • Experienced negotiator, comfortable in building long term relationships with key customers
  • Extensive market analysis and analytical skills
  • Fluent English language skills
  • Computer literacy
