For one of our clients – an international pharmaceutical company, we are searching an experienced professional for the position of Product Manager OTC

Main Responsibilities
  • Will be responsible for the overall product management of the OTC division
  • To establish the product portfolio strategy and develop an effective marketing action plan
  • To plan and implement all marketing activities, to follow-up the implementation and analyze the results
  • To ensure that the product strategy and communication are transparent and clear to all members involved, through articulate communication, team meetings, internal presentations etc
  • Ensures proper product and trade/marketing training of the OTC team
  • Responsible for the marketing budget and planning
  • Follows the market trends, competition and own portfolio’s market positioning
  • To report timely any occurring adverse reactions to the products of the company
  • To respect and ensure the fulfillment of company’s ethical and professional values
Experience and Qualifications required
  • A relevant education – University degree in one of the following: Medicine / Pharmacy / Biology or Chemistry, additional qualifications in Economics/Marketing would be considered strong advantage
  • Previous experience in a relevant role for a pharmaceutical company with OTC portfolio
  • Ability to analyze market conditions and devise an effective strategy for development of the brand, ability to translate strategy into particular actions and activities
  • Advanced leadership abilities, capacity to provide guidance and impact
  • Experienced negotiator, able to explain clearly and convince others, comfortable in building long term relationships
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate clearly and effectively on various levels
  • Appropriate IT skills, knowledge of methods and tools for conducting market data analysis
  • Fluent written/spoken English
  • Driving license
  • A self-starter, able to work proactively and independently without close supervision
  • Prepared and determined to work vigorously in a highly competitive environment
  • High achievement drive, result oriented person, not willing to settle for average or “second best”
  • Resilient, durable, able to cope with simultaneous business tasks or handle stressful situations
  • A strong team player
