NATIONAL SALES MANAGER Rx

For one of our clients – an international pharmaceutical company, we are searching for an experienced professional for the position of NATIONAL SALES MANAGER Rx.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the strategic company planning process via elaboration of the respective (sales) parts in the company strategic plans;
  • Plan sales on a monthly, quarterly, semi-annually and yearly basis and perform periodical re-estimate of the sales plan for a particular period;
  • Manage, develop and sustain Sales Force structure on the territory of the country;
  • Responsible for having an effective Sales Force; supports the direct repots in recruitment, training, retaining and motivating.;
  • Responsible for sales targets on national level, and its continuous control and proper deployment on the field;
  • Responsible of the proper usage and maintenance of the Customer Relations Management system (CRM);
  • Perform Double/Triple calls with Medical Representatives/Area Managers to train, receive feedback and to control their activities;
  • Responsible for collecting and share, with relevant stakeholders in company, information from the field regarding the doctors’ attitude to the medicines, promotional messages and materials used, as well as about the activities of the competition, information about sales and distribution problems;
  • Organize professional training courses for improving the qualifications of the Area Managers and Medical representatives;
  • Organize and hold national company meetings and meetings of employees of the representative office for the purpose of reporting on activities and outcomes, discussing strategies and preparing plans for subsequent periods;
  • Prepares regular reports concerning the Sales activities (Sales force, promoted products, etc.), provides different sales analyses by request of General Manager;
  • Periodic reporting to GM on the activities of Area Managers and Medical Representatives by preparing adequate summary reports;
  • Perform all current tasks assigned by the General Manager accurately and in due time;
  • Be familiar with the internal regulations, as well as the company’s labour health and safety rules and procedures and be aware and comply with the local legal restrictions;
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure that they are communicated and timely implemented within the team;
  • Shall be aware of Pharmacovigilance principles; any kind of adverse event (in relation with the Information of the drug safety, medicinal products Quality or Medical inquiry), shall be immediately reported to the Local Safety person in 12 hours. Be aware of HQ guidelines as well.
Experience required:
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Sales field management;
  • Knowledge of the rules and procedures applicable within the pharmaceutical industry;
  • Understanding the pharmaceutical market and trends;
  • Precise knowledge and implementation of the promotional strategy and tactics of the company.
Competencies and skills:
  • Relevant University degree (Medicine, Pharmacy, Economy, etc.)
  • Excellent command of English language;
  • Computer skills (excellent Excel, Power point, Word);
  • Driving skills, clear driving license.
