MANAGER “TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT”

For one of our clients, an international company – we are searching for an experienced and driven senior professional for the mission of: MANAGER “TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT”.

The Major Responsibilities Include:
  • Contribution to the development of the talent management and people development strategy of the organization;
  • Contribution to the development of the talent management and people development strategy of the organization;
  • Leadership of the T&D team, creating an appropriate framework (at organisational and employee level) to ensure that tasks are completed and that goals are achieved in a timely and economically efficient way
  • Agreeing objectives and delegating duties to employees incl. transfer of responsibility for execution to task completion
  • Ensuring a positive and motivated work environment and smooth, effective and efficient collaboration
  • Responsibility for the further development, localisation and operational implementation of national and international training and development concepts
  • Management and support of training and development – creating guidelines for topics in  training and development, textual elaboration of topics
  • Support, advice and technical supervision of the Training and Development Manager, responsibility for  coordinating induction and maintenance of required documents (e.g. training plans)
  • Responsibility for the development and implementation of concepts for training new employees (e.g. creating manuals)
  • Selection of and cooperation with external training providers
  • Responsibility for further training, adaptation to specific features of individual countries and development of tools for organisational development

  • Analysis of training evaluation and evaluation of training programmes, deriving appropriate actions
  • Support for departments and management in implementing the leadership model in all departments of the company (e.g. training, welcome events)
  • Support in the strategic alignment of the Training and Development department
Experience required:  
  • At least 4 years of professional experience in Training and Development, ideally in international company with state-of-art T&D practices.
  • At least 2 years people management experience.
Qualifications:
  • Relevant University degree.
  • Working knowledge of English and/or German languages.
  • Computer skills (excellent Excel, Power Point, Word)
  • Driving skills, clear driving license
