KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER

For one of our clients, we are searching for an experienced and driven professional for the mission of Key Account Manager. 

The Mission:
  • The position will be responsible for managing a specific key account or group of assigned key accounts. The Key Account Manager will be accountable for the achievement of sales value, display, distribution and spending targets.
The Major Responsibilities include:
  • Manage assigned key accounts and agree on joint business plans, applying the company standards
  • Build strong relationships with customers, acting as the key point of contact for each account and providing proactive, responsive customer service
  • Drive category growth through providing expertise to support sales activities
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with marketing, category management and brand management teams to ensure information flow to and from customer
  • Build key relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure customer service targets are met, including maintaining information flow to Demand Planning
  • Responsible and accountable for customer P&L, all trade expenditure and condition/pricing management for each account
  • Negotiate and sell in annual account plans with customers
  • Plan, monitor and report on key account performance
  • Actively seek and develop new customer opportunities
  • Actively seek and develop opportunities to grow the level of business with each key account
Experience required:
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position managing key accounts in the FMCG sector
Qualification and competencies:
  • Academic degree in a relevant field – Management, Economics, Finance etc.
  • Confident negotiator
  • Advanced Analytical Skills
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Ability and motivation to work and pursue own goals with less or no supervision
  • Notable drive to achieve results and exceed expectations
  • A team player, excellent communication skills
