Assistant Production Scheduler

For one of our clients, an international company and a leading food manufacturer – we are searching for a driven professional.

Produce efficient production plans according to Central Planning requests delivering high customer service levels against the optimal costs.

Adhere to the weekly planning process, convert the central production plan to the short term and detailed production plan taking into account the available capacity, material constraints and factory deliverables
Participate in weekly planning meetings to carry out scheduling in line with other services
Act as business partner to the production teams to understand their labour, maintenance and project plans and build appropriate plans
Manage stakeholders (central planning, controlling, production departments, planning and logistics team)
Monitor and Review plan daily and escalate where needed
Perform Capacity Utilisation checks
Monitor and report relevant KPIs for Production compliance
Analyse deviations, propose corrective and preventive actions and implement solutions
Is involved in the deployment of Manufacturing Operating System initiatives and continuous improvement projects
Act as a role model for safety, complies with all SHE rules
Manage inventory to operational targets, Maintain APO Master Data

Experience in planning/scheduling in a manufacturing environment
University degree or equivalent experience
Ability to manage multiple inputs from different departments with effective prioritization and deliver efficient production plans
Excellent communication skills at all levels of the business and the ability to demonstrate strong facilitation and meetings management skills
Excellent PC skills including MS Office and, preferably, SAP or another ERP system
Good knowledge of English language, both written and spoken• Good knowledge of English language, both written and spoken
High level of drive and self-motivation, ambitious to succeed and prepared to go the extra mile
Ability to manage relationships at all levels across a wide variety of functions to achieve results with limited authority
